Braum’s opens second Sherman restaurant on south U.S. 75
The company lists the southern store as operating with the same daily hours as Gainesville’s location. Public records trace the project to 2018 but give no opening date.
Braum’s customers have a second place to stop in Sherman, with the company now listing a restaurant along U.S. Highway 75 on the city’s south side. The new store’s posted hours match those at its Gainesville location, giving customers the same daily window for a visit.
Braum’s identifies the restaurant as store No. 332 at 3120 South Highway 75, open daily from 6 a.m. to 10:45 p.m. The company posts that same schedule for its Gainesville store at 400 West California Street, which includes a grocery market, ice cream counter and grill.
The company also continues to list its northern Sherman restaurant at 2506 North U.S. Highway 75. Together, the listings confirm that both Sherman locations are operating.
City Council records locate the southern project in Sherman Crossroads Phase II, just south of the West Travis Street extension and northwest of the intersection of U.S. 75 and West FM 1417. The street identified in those records is West Travis, rather than South Travis.
The project reached Sherman’s Planning and Zoning Commission on Nov. 20, 2018. According to the meeting minutes, a representative presented it as a second Sherman location, with plans for a restaurant, drive-through and parking.
The City Council approved the site plan and granted a variance for the setback along the property’s southern edge, according to its records. A later state project registration, filed in August 2024 with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, described the construction as privately funded.
Estimated construction cost filed for the new Sherman restaurant
The August 2024 state registration lists this estimate; it is not a verified final expenditure.
The restaurant appears in Sherman’s December 2025 building report. Neither the supplied development records nor the company’s operating listing identifies the date customers were first served.
The expansion comes amid documented population growth in Sherman. Census Bureau estimates placed the city at about 52,000 residents in July 2025, roughly one-fifth above its April 2020 estimates base.

Separately, Texas Instruments reported that production began at its new Sherman semiconductor factory in December 2025. The company said market demand would guide further construction, equipment installation and production increases at the site.
Braum’s describes a geographic limit on its own expansion: restaurants must stay within delivery reach of its processing and distribution center in Tuttle, Oklahoma. The company says that restriction supports deliveries every other day. Its published company information also states that all stores are family-owned and operated, with no franchised locations.
