Bubba's 33 is recruiting kitchen and customer-service workers for a new restaurant on U.S. Highway 75 in Sherman, where the chain's location page lists a planned opening of Nov. 9, 2026.
The company careers site carries a posting for a full-time meat cutter and postings for part-time servers, each listed at 2611 N. U.S. Highway 75. Those listings establish that the restaurant is hiring for both full-time and part-time schedules. They do not substantiate a staffing total of 190 jobs, which remains unverified.
The Sherman location page gives the planned opening date and does not list daily operating hours. At the company's restaurant in The Colony, the posted schedule opens at 11 a.m. every day and closes at 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and at 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
The site sits in Grayson County, according to the accessibility filing registered with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation. That filing and Sherman's building-permit record each list the restaurant at 7,105 square feet. Parent company Texas Roadhouse told investors in its 2025 annual report that the standard Bubba's 33 runs about 7,600 square feet, and that a smaller design of roughly 6,700 square feet was planned for use in 2026.
The city issued the permit on April 30 after an application filed in early March, naming Buffalo Construction as the applicant. The permit records a valuation of about $2.9 million. The state filing, which describes privately funded construction on private land, lists an estimated construction cost of $750,000. The two records report different measures, and neither establishes the final cost of the project. The filing's construction window runs from March 16 to Aug. 24, 2026; those dates cover building work rather than the day the doors open to the public.

The hiring lands in a city adding people fast. The Census Bureau estimated about 52,400 residents in Sherman in July 2025, roughly a fifth above its revised 2020 base. Denison, up the road, grew closer to a tenth over the same stretch. Texas Instruments began production at its SM1 semiconductor plant in Sherman on Dec. 17, 2025, and says the site could hold as many as four factories and 3,000 direct jobs if demand supports the expansion.

Restaurant work is a familiar part of the local labor market. The Bureau of Labor Statistics counted about 5,000 food preparation and serving jobs in Sherman-Denison in May 2023, at a median of $12.95 an hour. Those regional estimates do not establish what Bubba's 33 will pay. Nationally, BLS projects 5% growth in food and beverage serving jobs from 2025 to 2035, with about 1.08 million openings a year, many of them replacing workers who change occupations or leave the labor force, and reports that part-time schedules are common in the field.
The first Bubba's 33 opened in Fayetteville, North Carolina, in May 2013. Texas Roadhouse reported 56 of the restaurants at the end of 2025, up from 49 a year earlier.
