Valley View Cares is a volunteer community-aid group that formed after the Valley View tornado to help families. It now runs a free drive-through Food Blessing on the Valley View square at the Christian Gathering Pavilion (301 Reavis St) the first Saturday of every month from 8 to 10 AM, with food delivered by the Tarrant Area Food Bank. No pre-registration: volunteers load your vehicle, and all they ask is your last name and the city you live in. Volunteers are welcome.
