VISTO (Volunteers In Service To Others)
Cooke County's largest food pantry — our goal is to provide food to feed an average family of four enough basic staples for two weeks. As funding and donations allow, we add fresh meat, eggs, bread, laundry soap, toilet paper, juice, and fresh produce. We run a client-choice pantry, which lets people pick the food they'll actually use — keeping things dignified, cutting waste, and letting each family tailor what they take to their own situation.

- Sign up through your school counselor. A VISTO volunteer delivers the bags to your campus, and your counselor has the pickup details.
- Limits
- Each bag holds 3 proteins, 2 vegetables, 2 fruits, 2 grains, 1 drink and 1 snack, chosen by the student from a request list. Students can also ask for things like school supplies, toiletries, bedding or a backpack.
- Eligibility
- Students enrolled at Callisburg Elementary School, Callisburg Middle School (CISD Middle School), Callisburg High School, or Gainesville High School.
