To enroll your child in Gainesville Independent School District (GISD):
Step 1: Gather Required Documents

- Parent/guardian photo ID
- Previous school records/transcripts (if transferring)

New Students: GISD typically holds enrollment/registration events in late July and August before the school year begins. However, new students can enroll at any time during the year.
Pre-K: Gainesville ISD offers a Pre-K program. Eligibility may be based on income, language, or military status.
