The Abilene Flying Bison beat the Sherman ShadowCats 14-7, according to the official box score kept by the Texas Collegiate League and posted to its statistics partner, PrestoSports. That record is the source for the final margin, which left Abilene with exactly twice Sherman's run total.

Tyler Sessions led the Sherman batting line included in the official box score. The record has Sessions reaching base three times in five trips to the plate, a 3-for-5 night that included two doubles and a home run. All three of his hits went for extra bases. The same box score credits him with driving in two of Sherman's seven runs and scoring once himself.

Both clubs are competing in the Texas Collegiate League this year.
