Callisburg breaks losing streak with 53–7 win over S&S
MaxPreps results show the Wildcats earned their first victory of the season and their first district win, with Blue Ridge and Valley View next on the schedule.
Callisburg earned its first football victory of the season Oct. 16, 2026, beating S&S Consolidated 53–7 after losing its opening six games, according to MaxPreps results. The home victory also put the Wildcats in the district win column before their scheduled trip to Blue Ridge and home game against Valley View.
Callisburg’s offense produced more points against S&S than it had in all its previous games combined, a calculation from the MaxPreps results shows. The earlier losses included two shutouts, against Bowie and Howe. Before facing S&S, the Wildcats’ highest scoring total had come against Millsap.

UIL’s current alignment assigns Callisburg and S&S to Conference 3A Division II, District 7. Bells, Blue Ridge, Howe, Leonard and Valley View complete the district. Both upcoming opponents on Callisburg’s MaxPreps schedule are therefore district opponents.

UIL’s description of its MaxPreps partnership says coaches and schools supply information, while public submissions can appear after verification. The specific submitter of the S&S game result was not established.
Valley View’s district assignment differs from the previous alignment. UIL’s 2024–26 records placed Valley View in District 6 and Gunter in Callisburg’s district. The 2026–28 alignment includes Valley View in District 7 and excludes Gunter from that group.
