Collinsville Fire reports late-night commercial structure fire in 1800 block of Highway 377

Collinsville Fire Department reported a confirmed working commercial structure fire at 11:10 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026, in the 1800 block of Highway 377, according to the department's public incident post. McDaniel Air Conditioning & Heating lists its Collinsville location at 1885 S. Hwy 377 on the company's own website, an address that falls inside the block the department gave.

The incident post gave the location by block and did not name a business. Any link between the call and McDaniel Air Conditioning & Heating rests on the address the company publishes for itself rather than on an identification made by fire officials. The department classified the call as a confirmed working commercial structure fire, the wording used in its post.

Collinsville is a Grayson County city, according to the Texas Municipal League's directory of Texas cities, which lists Grayson as the city's county. The city's fire department page identifies Damon V. Stewart as fire chief and fire marshal.
