Donations are being sought to help the Dill family of Whitesboro cover funeral expenses and medical care while keeping up with daily bills, according to a GoFundMe appeal organized by Tatiana Koontz. Lucca Camargo Dill died Sept. 28, 2026, at age six, according to his funeral-home announcement.
The funeral notice identifies Whitesboro as Lucca’s home and names his parents, Daniela and Randy Dill, and sister, Zoey, among his survivors.
In the GoFundMe account, Koontz says Lucca died following an automobile accident involving Daniela and her family that day. Koontz reports that Daniela had undergone surgery and faced more procedures. Medical treatment and recovery are among the costs the campaign seeks to cover.
Koontz’s request extends to everyday expenses during Daniela’s recovery, alongside the costs of Lucca’s funeral and memorial. The appeal thus asks donors to help with both immediate expenses following his death and household bills while his mother receives care, according to the campaign’s description.
The funeral home lists Lucca’s celebration of life for 4 p.m. Oct. 2, 2026, at First Baptist Church Whitesboro.
The GoFundMe appeal does not document any involvement by Sippin Social in Sherman. Grayson County’s April health-department listing identifies The Sippin Social as a business on West Taylor Street. That record establishes its location; the supplied primary sources do not confirm a Thursday fundraiser launch or orders for a tea called “Lucca.”
Earlier donation campaigns provide examples of assistance requested after fatal crashes involving Whitesboro families. The September 2024 campaign organized in Denison sought support for Addison Branum’s family and an injured survivor identified as Colby following a fatal Whitesboro crash.

The DeLuna Memorial Fund page identifies Bruce Birdsong as the organizer of a February 2016 appeal for a Whitesboro family. According to that campaign’s account, two children were killed and another was hospitalized. The requested assistance included the children’s funerals, travel to the hospital and replacement transportation.
Household costs also figure in the platform’s broader fundraising data. GoFundMe’s global 2025 Year in Help report said fundraising for essential expenses increased by about a fifth. Those figures describe activity across the platform and do not establish results for the Dill family appeal. The company’s report also said roughly a third of fundraisers were started for other people or nonprofit organizations.
