The Home Depot on East Highway 82 in Gainesville will hold a Pro Xtra Week from Monday, Oct. 5, through Friday, Oct. 9, with five featured tool and building-product brands and a different food offering each day, according to a flyer from the store's Pro Sales desk.
The week is aimed at the contractors, remodelers and tradespeople who buy at Store #0519, 804 E. Highway 82. The flyer gives it a football theme, under the line "Football, food & pros!"
Featured vendors
The flyer lists these brands as featured vendors:
- Milwaukee and Ryobi, power tools and outdoor equipment
- LP SmartSide, trim and siding
- Behr, paints and coatings
- MI Windows, windows and doors
The food lineup
Each day has its own menu, according to the flyer:
- Monday, Oct. 5: breakfast
- Tuesday, Oct. 6: meatballs and little smokies
- Wednesday, Oct. 7: sausages
- Thursday, Oct. 8: burgers
- Friday, Oct. 9: nachos
The flyer does not give serving times, and it does not say whether the food is limited to Pro Xtra members or what the featured vendors will offer. The Pro Desk is open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and can answer both questions.
What Pro Xtra is
Pro Xtra is The Home Depot's loyalty program for professional customers. The company says it is free to join. Members earn rewards on what they spend and get volume pricing and paint discounts, according to The Home Depot. Membership is not limited to licensed trades: a homeowner can register and pick the do-it-yourself option. Customers can sign up at the Pro Desk, in the Home Depot app or online.
