Sherman VFW lists Currier for September Texoma Hero recognition

Susan “Renae” Currier is the September Texoma Hero named on Sherman VFW Post 2772’s calendar, which scheduled her recognition for noon Sept. 25 in Sherman. Hot 107.3 FM says it works with Billy Teague on Texoma Heroes, selecting a veteran for a ceremonial flag each month. Cooke County veterans also fall within the service area of the Military Veteran Peer Network based at Walker House in Denison, according to Texoma Community Center.
